UPSC is the main central recruiting agency with constitutional and independent status.

Annually, it conducts various exams to recruit best talent for the Indian bureaucracy,

It conducts exams for the All India Services such as IAS, IPS, IFS, and other other posts for the central government.

The nature of exams conducted by UPSC is too difficult to crack. This is the reason why it is called one of the most difficult exams in the world.

For the purpose of civil services, UPSC conducts three levels of exams -Preliminary, Main, and Interview in a sequence.

The nature of preliminary is MCQs type, whereas, Main exam is written in nature. Third is the test of personality.
